RESOLVEFILM was started in 2006. It came about after I was invited along to film the Eastern Bikes UK BMX roadtrip. I filmed the trip and needed a name to release the web videos under – RESOLVEFILM.
From the very first time I picked up a video camera, I knew making films was something that I wanted to do, but I had no idea the journey on which it would take me. I’m now a camera operator and editor, currently based in the South West of England. I’m professional, creative and passionate about the work I do, using my background in extreme sports and music videography to give a unique and artistic approach to all my work.
Since filming the Eastern Bikes BMX tour, I have produced web videos for each round of the UK King of Dirt MTB competition in 2009 and 2010, travelling all over the UK. I have also created web adverts for the ‘Track Invitational’ dirt jump event held in Portreath 2009 and the ‘King of Dirt’ event at NASS 2011.
In June 2010 I found myself operating cameras on the main stage at Download Festival, Donnington, UK – filming the likes of Slash, The Deftones, and Motorhead.
I also have a passion for music and have started producing music videos. The first video I made was for Everything Burns’ first single from their debut album ‘Home’. It has since gone on to be shown on various UK TV channels and has recieved over 80’000 plays on YouTube.
